Budapest – April 17, 2025 – The Danube Institute and the American Hungarian Chamber of Commerce NY (amhuncham.us) have signed a long-term memorandum of understanding, aimed at exploring the opportunities within their shared network. Both Martin Zsarnoczky and Gergely Dobozi pointed out that the agreement places particular emphasis on deepening economic and cultural dialogue, as well as strengthening initiatives that foster the relationship between the United States and Hungary.
As a precursor to their collaboration, the two organizations will jointly organize the international event Free Market Road Show (FMRS) in Budapest, featuring renowned economists, leading politicians, and prominent business leaders. The event, held in partnership with the Austrian Economics Center, will take place on May 13, 2025, at the Danube Institute. FMRS is one of the world’s most significant series of events dedicated to promoting free market ideas, and through its collaboration with the Austrian Economics Center, it aims to open new dimensions in economic discourse. The event will present free market principles and their practical applications while also seeking answers to global economic challenges.
The collaboration between the AMHUNCHAM and the DanubeInstitute aims to jointly explore the evolution of the „American dream” and assess its future prospects. Thus, the partnership between the two organizations not only shapes economic discourse but also offers an opportunity to understand better the global role of the free market economy and how cooperation between countries can be fostered in the future.
