The European American Chamber of Commerce Texas organized the Economic Leadership Forum for the fourth consecutive year, welcoming a distinguished group of speakers and attendees for an inspiring exploration of the future of

transatlantic trade and the Space Economy.

The program began with EACC TX President Erin McKelvey and Helmuth Ludwig, who welcomed the EU-Texas Economic Leadership Forum to the SMU Cox School of Business. Ambassador Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison former Permanent NATO Representative extended a warm Texas welcome to the EU and Hungarian ambassadors On behalf of the City of Dallas, highlighting Dallas as a
hashtag
premier international destination for transatlantic companies and investments.

Her Excellency Jovita Neliupลกienฤ—, the EU Ambassador to the United States, underscored the EU’s crucial role as a prime trade and investment partner for both the USA and Texas. Hungarian Ambassador Szabolcs Takรกcs emphasized Hungary’s commitment to the EU over the past 20 years, noting the significant role of trade in driving growth and the need for collaboration to address contemporary challenges, focusing on people for a resilient future.

In the space economy program part, David Lopez guided us through advancements in space innovation, demonstrating how accidental discoveries have transformed the industry and made space more accessible. Szabolcs Szolnoki offered valuable insights into current Hungary’s and the EU’s programs within the space economy, while Blake Calvert from the Texas Space Commission highlighted Texasโ€™ dedication to becoming a global hub for space
hashtag
industries. Michelle Schulz delivered an insight on navigating trade regulations within the ever-evolving space economy, stressing the importance of trusted partners to help businesses take their next steps.

On the technology side, Zsolt MENESI from eCon USA, LLC showcased how

AI and digital twins are revolutionizing research and development, while Kirsten Whittingham of Max Space examined the future of space manufacturing, habitats, and exploration, emphasizing inflatable habitats as the next big innovation for expanding space applications affordably.

Joe Guzman from Space Cowboy ADR discussed solutions for space debris to ensure safer and more sustainable commercial space operations, while Tibor Pacher of Puli Space Technologies presented his lunar technology, which enables the detection of water traces on the moon.
